my cronies & I rallied in Overtown
against the new immigration law in Arizona,
and for workers rights.
even though I saw local news channels there
I can find nothing more than:
such bullshit- media denying attention...
here are (some) photos I took:

i love the raging grannies,
here's a close up of one their
well-pinned hats:

of course the cops monitored the whole thing
even though nothing violent or "out of control" was going to go down.
laaaattteeeeerrr....

A rally and march for labor and immigrant rights began at 1 p.m. Saturday in Overtown in observance of May Day. Dozens of local unions and socialist groups were expected to attend the march that left the IBEW Union Hall, 1657 NW 17th Ave. and ended at Jackson Memorial Hospital, 1611 NW 12th Ave. Some of the people in the march rallied Jackson Memorial Hospital to save jobs, while others protested against Arizona's anti-immigrant legislation, according to CBS4 news partner The Miami Herald. May Day is traditionally the day that observes workers' rights. ``This march is demanding social justice from our government,'' said Coordinator Sandy Davies, a member of the Progressive Democrats of America Miami branch told The Herald. ``It is demanding basic labor rights for all working people.''

we saw:
("God" by Woody Allen)which was simple, but hilariously entertaining for an hour long show.
then of course hung out & since it's my last night here for awhile
we went to the Diner for ol'time sake.
now I'm preparing to write and extensive post
& was watching "Three's Company,"
but prefer the tune of the Black Keys new album...
